Ascension is eliminating on-site jobs in Indiana and outsourcing them to a contactor based in India instead. A few of the now former employees told I-Team 8 they were asked to train their replacements.

I can't even take PTO to get a biopsy before ins runs out. Working weekends to keep up with "business as usual" because Knowledge Transfer sessions run 7hrs / day. Too exhausted to be upset. 😓
Let's hope they get some business from India since that's where they are throwing their money at. As a US resident, I personally would not spend my US dollars on a product whose vendor screws over their American employees. Take any job at the moment as a temporary solution because if you train your replacement, you will regret it for the rest of your life. It's like sharpening the ax for the executioner to use on you.
If employees want to get their severance package then they have no choice but to train the replacements.

Not just Indiana. IT Employees in all states are affected: WI FL AL TX MI KS OK. Not sure why they only notified MO about the 651 this round, but most likely to keep it quiet. So arrogant they won't answer tge public's questions...even though they profit off of taxpayers.
