Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Don't get stuck

I know people who were laid off months ago and are still unemployed because they are looking for a job that resembles what they used to do here as much as possible. I think many will keep waiting unless they broaden their horizons and start looking outside of their comfort zone. There are plenty of jobs available where our skills are applicable, you just need to look for them.

I've had four job offers since my RIF. I turned them all down... for a much needed "Anthem Recovery" :)

People prefer to wait and rest on unemployment. I understand them. They are worn out and unemployment gives them some rest. Let them take as long as they need. Once you go back to working you only get 2 weeks off and work feels burdensome and traps you. More than money, time off is the greatest need and best and most useful to us all

Yes I made an escape and got more money and better benefits and did not have to move. Its there if you look. Sometimes its boring but I like boring over being worried about losing my job.
