Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Prefer quitting rather than returning to a toxic atmosphere?

When I finally made the decision to leave J.P. Morgan due to the toxic atmosphere in the office, we switched to working from home. That was the only reason I stayed here a little longer.
I am almost convinced that a toxic atmosphere is the main reason for resistance to returning to offices. It's not about slacking off.
I gave notice yesterday.

Better think twice before leaving. How do you guys brag about working at the biggest bank in the world to your friends if you leave ? Do you know how many women wanna come near me simply because I work for JP freaking Morgan ? puts on sunglasses

I gave notice last week. Since 2021 - 7 people have given notice in my group….the 8th is waiting on the background check. It was the most dysfunctional and toxic work environment I have ever had. My JPM experience legit worst continuous employment experience.

I'm the smartest guy in the room. I'll walk and find the nearest competitor that allows me to work remote if Jamie forces showing up like a robot. This isn't the one auto plant in town and its not the 1950's. I'll take great pleasure in destroying JPM remote, and taking the business while I run on my treadmill.
