Why so much micromanagement?

People who do not know how to motivate, inspire and lead their employees, apply micromanagement! I have no other explanation. All I know is that it has become unbearable.
I have been working here for a long time, I consider myself a hard worker and I have worked in other companies as well. However, I have never been under such micromanagement as here.

One of the reasons I left. We write our own check, we don’t need to know you have sent only 50 emails 20 looks and no product shares. How does this help? Let your employees do their jobs and stop micromanaging they want to and need to make money.
