It's been pretty weird,and quiet from what we have noticed. Some departments are over worked,and some does not have any work .Any word on any lay off this week? Future ones?

You guys realize Centene has their army of staff (HR, Directors, VP) reading and posting on this site. It’s not a secrete - they come here to get their info. And feel out the rumor mill, so they can switch up their plans last minute.
I am in louisiana and we are being worked to death and begging for some relief and nothing is happening. In the meantime, we keep losing more and more and more people. We have a feeling that something is happening. We feel like our contract will not get renewed and they are just letting it get bad so people can leave on their own.
@ Karen ....What a crazy question to be asking. Almost everyone on here is unhappy, and venting to some degree or another . This is a lay off forum for Petes sake . no one is happy. People are worried, concerned, fed up, scared, tired, worn out , ready to go.. Just because a person vent and or post on this forum, does not mean that they are not looking for a job. New flash it may be difficult for some, millions of people is out of work, looking for work etc Competition is hella fierce. Jobs are lowing their wages because they know people are desperately seeking employment. Please stop assuming that people are not looking for jobs, because they are expressing their thoughts, feeling, plans, situations, and concerns, about Centene.
Lol @ Karen, of course! My résumé has been dusted off and updated to look all shiny and new for all of these positions I have been applying for.

I’m in Tx, we were switched over to a Florida sup. in March. I’ve been hoping to be laid off since March. I’ve been praying to God for a severance, and a break from being over worked and burnt out. I may dabble in some Voodoo just to make something happen LOL
