Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

When was the last time you weren’t stressed out at JPMC?

The job I do has always been stressful. Even in the company I was in before, there were always stressful situations. However, here at JPMC stress has reached new levels. I thought I could handle it until the psychophysical symptoms started to appear. Health has no price so I gave notice.

I have done okay under a lot of stress. I've learnt to deal with stress and I've learnt to avoid it like plagues. Its a skill I've learnt from fellow coworkers at jpmc, who do less than half the work of a peer and yet manage to keep their bonus.

Stress management is a muscle you develop. But also it helps to have a supportive management. None of this would work without it.

The next bank wont be better as they are all the same. Leaving chase means you left very nice benefits. I suggest taking a stress management course to help you in your journey. May the universe bless you.

Kudos to you!! You are wise for leaving under those conditions and your health & wellness are not
worth compromising for any salary, no matter how much you really need to work. Chase and their minions will not shed a single tear if you get sick from stress and die on the job!! You can be a dedicated employee and bust your bu-t every day at Chase, but when they decide you are no longer needed the swift kick out the door will sure hurt!! I've seen it happen WAY too many times.

It would not be normal at JP Morgan Chase if there we no excessive and undue stress in their environment. No stress at Chase, MAYBE?? if you are a dead employee and that's a BIG MAYBE??.

Sorry, I don’t really have stress at work, so I can’t comment since I did pretty well with dogecoin in private, to the point that I can still live a decent frugal life without this job. The only reason I am still here in the time being is because I get make my manager look bad by calling him out on bs in front people in emails because I don’t need to worry about retaliation that can make me lose my job. Best feeling ever haha

You have to sit back and relax. Collect the paycheck. You're stressing way too hard about working here.

I thrive on stressful situations, it forces me to think outside the box, come up with quick solutions, it gets my adrenaline going. Stress and black coffee, good combo. However, I can't stand a du.mb stupid POS weasel of a boss, that I cannot tolerate and I draw the line (plus I get bored easily). Best of luck to you, make sure you don't end up in the same situation.
