Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Why don't they want to hear suggestions?

The worst thing I could do here is to express my opinion on a problem that makes my work difficult and that can never be solved. I couldn’t keep quiet about it anymore, but their ego is so big that they can’t take even the slightest constructive remark and idea of an employee.
I expect to become redundant because of this, because it is obvious how much the manager changed his attitude towards me very soon after I gave this suggestion.

You have been flagged as a trouble maker. Senior management says they want feedback. They say they want engaged employees contributing to the solutions which cannot be further from the truth. Any constructive feedback you give will be construed as negative and you will be flagged for replacement. You know the drill they place you on a PIP with unreasonable goals then performance manage you out. Its the Hertz way.
