Here's a tip for ya. Managers don't like lazy people. Come to work, put forth a strong effort, do more than just what it takes to get by.......They'll like you.
Odds are they people whining about not being promoted are prone to calling in, won't do any more than the minimum, & aren't someone that can be counted on.

Same in our club, I know for a fact that that points have been erased for the favorites. And if you are not liked, then forget about being promoted or moving into another position. And for the person who said "people are not liked for a reason", your point is? This company breaks so many rules.

Why would anyone get promoted if they are not liked? People aren't like for a reason. Being liked isn't automatic, it's something you work at.
