now that we finally have determined "winners" and "losers"?
i think all this cr-p about union wah (for and against) is being written by one person. one sad, little person who has nothing in their life. think about how many Monday mornings had posts that were written late Friday or saturday when a normal person would be with their family or partner. and how many sounded like they were fed by late night benders. and, don't get me started about the whole vote manipulation thing. this guy made it all suspect and meaningless.
the funny thing is i don't really know what his point was. the pro wah character was supposed to have "won", but they were written like a one dimensional, doofy, loyal puppy (and not in a likeable way). plus there was the whole copy and repost thing worked into the story. it's kinda like you were supposed to have no respect for him. the anti wah characters were better written. they had more depth of character, and there was more thought put into them. there were clear differences in the characters. they "lost", but it's like their point of view was the author's, and because of this, they were written better.
in the end, that doesn't matter either. both arguments are out there now for better or worse. win, lose... It doesn't matter either. maybe that's what the author was trying to get at if he had a point at all.
no matter what... I think the unintended point of this whole thing is you can't trust anything written here. anything written here will reek of insincere manipulation. it's going to be a long time before anything posted here will have any credibility to anyone.

At this point it’s clear this is a troll. The guy goes on making hateful, bullying comments about the people who want to work from home. He clearly loses the arguments in every post and continues going on. Do you realize you’ve been the only one making posts lately? Each post you put down all these people who want to work from home. I have no dice in the game since I’m in a hybrid model, but maybe their right about the bad environments they work in. I suggest you all reach out to HR or union reps, not sure what union people do, and show the last few posts I’m sure they would be appalled at this.
yea.. some things seemed weird to me. I always thought the whole recycled post thing was strange. I mean, how could somebody be so stupid? the puppy analogy is right on. you put up with it's annoyances because, irritating as it is, you hope it'll grow out of it someday and calm down (you hope) and uncle verizon was just so weird but benign... like a Chas Addams character.
it all makes sense, though when you look at it as one complete story with one author. it's a little cartoonish and exaggerated to drive a point home, but you ignore that for the sake of the story.
it did make me think about how I feel about work from home. I'm calling Monday, and I know what I'll be telling them.
