Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Work conditions in claims at lowest point ever

I currently have triple the amount of files right now than I normally do going into a Monday. I'm actually starting to work on them now at 1am.

Between having a holiday off (how dare us!), more than 40 adjusters lost to the CCC starting today, and India having been working on files behind our backs and India talking to shops now it is actual going to get even worse with the being behind, the shops and customer complaints, and India balling up the works.

Lay me off please.

Yep, exactly, and guess what? Allstate blames YOU for not working hard enough and long enough emptying water buckets from this sinking ship.

My unit is all behind on pending inspections. We take calls all day from angry Insured’s, claimants, agents and shops wanting statuses of when we’re going to address supplements or totals for claims filed 2-3 weeks ago. What a nightmare this job has turned into since the layoffs late last year! Local shops I used to go write estimates at call saying they can’t get through on the virtual assist line for over a week. Then we have to try and write a $15,000 supplement off bad photos shops send in!

Allstate has doubled down on their cheap AF plans to ship your job to India. I’ve had to deal with India’s rude and condescending Teams IMs checking in on my files! Your not my boss! At least not yet. They’ve obviously been told they are the future of Allstate and sure as sh-t are acting like it.

Hope you’re ready for the constant Teams messages from the Pune losers who think they know how to do your job while looking at a script. Get ready for pi---d off insureds (or claimants, better yet) blowing you up because Patel was rude to them or told them the wrong information.

Cheap labor doesn’t fix anything. Look at the FNOL Vendors. You could try to file a rear ender claim and they will put it as unknown loss facts with no info. This is how Allstate wants to do it. They don’t care. Their cheap, low class commercials and “good hands” promise will carry them to success.
