Just a lot of whining and complaining. No real layoff Information. Who cares if you left a pair of shoes in your desk.!!!
So try to keep this site relevant to layoffs 😎

Sorry Todd, I confess that I was drinking 3 cups of office coffee and 5 cups of office tea everyday, and I was bringing 2 liter of office water home every evening for my mid night drinking. Sorry to bring your water bill up for the last few years.

Todd, shouldn’t you be running a firm or better yet planning your retirement and not posting here ?
You finally found someone complaining on the interweb? Better start a thread to complain about it!
Troll this jacka$$
@OP+1buM6mrO, so if your still working at the bank you should know that once your job is eliminated as they like to tell you make sure you take your shoes or any personal belongs. Good information you need to know besides (side eye at you) wanting to know when layoffs are coming. Good luck because anyone who is still left there should worry about when the hammer is coming.
Ok Todd, sorry.
I would normally ask if anyone else smelled a troll but the stench is so overwhelming that there is no need to.
This site is MSS without the bs and executive propaganda.
Part of the strength of this site is it brings people together who are current, retired, laid off, and people who voluntarily left the company (and persons who are thinking about whether to apply to BNYM). Knowledge is power. Knowing what to expect after being laid off is important, too. Because before sites like this, the employer controlled the megaphone and laid off people seemed to just disappear and never to be heard from again. I can personally attest to using knowledge garnered from this site to being able to push back and keep my job for the last few years before being laid off (after more than a dozen years at BNYM). I know it also feels good to not be going through this alone (although the “all you cry babies suck! Glad you all gone” posts make me happy that I don’t have to work with those types for now).
