Some guy from DeVry appeared today at the Negotiated Regulations Hearings today. I heard every word but could not figure out what he was asking for.

Not really. A troll is someone on the Internet who posts annoying or harassing messages on a forum. Regardless of his intentions and whether or not they have any validity in the larger scheme of things, Dane is here trolling the site. His posts are just him trying to harass employees and sell his own blog writing. He’s not a DeVry employee and his posts have nothing to do with layoffs!
I worked there for a few decades. Our location had a lot of successful placements, which might not reflect the overall quality of the system. I left about five years ago when the management became too political and abusive but always felt I did well by my students, many of whom got jobs in their field. I agree that there were things marketing shouldn’t have said about guarantees and such but there were many of us putting in an honest effort with decent results. Every time someone posts how terrible the place was, they are spitting in the face of the grads who did manage to get jobs on their field and helping ruin their chances of future employment by taking down about the place. You folks act like no one ever learned anything there and it just isn’t true.
The very need to have "Troll busters" is a direct indication of a corrupt and fraudulent operation. If students actually benefitted there would be no need for that. Less than 20 percent of DeVry's students graduate and less than a quarter make any dent in their loans even years after leaving (about half default within 5 years) precisely because of the enrollment standards indicated below. Everyone working working there who doesn't have their head in the sand knows what is going on. Unfortunately too many simply ignore it because they too are caught up and dependent in the fraud.
This isn’t your personal website.
You are the lowest sort of low, coming here to kick DVU employees when they’re down.
At best, it’s digital graffiti, making unwanted marks on a digital space that doesn’t belong to you.
You are not an employee. Are you too d-mb to understand that? Use your own website to attack DeVry if you’d like but THIS WEBSITE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT LAYOFFS not your personal scribbling board!!!
Student Veteran Submission: Antonio Luna Testimony to the Department of Education
Good morning/afternoon. My name is Antonio Luna and I’m from Phoenix, Arizona. After completing my active duty in the Marine Corps in 2014, I enrolled in DeVry University to pursue a degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Web Game Development. I graduated in February 2018 but still haven’t found a job in my chosen field. That’s just one of the reasons why I’m testifying today.
I was persuaded to enroll in DeVry when I attended my military base’s mandatory transition into civilian life classes. The school’s representatives told me a degree from DeVry would guarantee a job in my field within six months and that I’d be earning a salary over $60,000 — much higher than a bachelor’s degree from other colleges or universities could yield. They bragged about how they take care of veterans and how my GI Bill would pretty much take care of all costs. They said their hands-on career advisors and their connections would help me guide me to the perfect career. Why wouldn’t I enroll? This all sounded great. Unfortunately none of it was true.
“Some dude was somewhere and said something, but I don’t know what.”
Really? Seriously? That’s the best you’ve got to offer?
Useless. Not even a good rumor.
You don’t work at DVU, you never have. You just stop in to drop your hate on us. This site is for employees and former employees. You don’t belong here so stop posting.
“Let us continue enrolling the mentally ill, the incompetent, the heavily indebted and the lame so when they default on their loans, we can blame it on them”
