Those who are not cut, they are leaving in droves. Can a company even stop leaving of so many skilled people with tremendous expertise? I'm afraid that soon there will be no such great employees here at all. It’s amazing to me how this company doesn't care about that category of employees.

BP did this to themselves. Totally incompetent and misguided executives. BP will never live down Deep Water Horizon. The company should have gone bankrupt. Please look at the YouTube video on the Gulf 10 years after the incident.
Every 3 years BP has a reorganization which makes it difficult to want to stay. I was with Amoco/BP for 40 years and had the privilege to work in London for a year. BP continues to bring in consultants and make them employees. They have no clue to what management is let alone the oil business.
BP is a sinking ship and the stock price reflects it.
