I’m already used to WFH and wouldn’t like to go back to the office for many reasons. I know some of you are not afraid, but I would be really anxious going back in the office for fear of a greater chance of infection, regardless of vaccination. I think both my concentration and motivation would drop drastically.

Yes, many jellyfish at the top of house. Just whine enough, especially if you're a protected class, and do whatever you want. If you get a doctor's note, heck they'll probably make you a grade 25.
Tips from the millennial (below) is correct. That happens quite often in my division and the person always gets their way. Just call HR and tell them it is hurting your wellness. If you can get a doctor's note you are pretty much golden to do anything you want.
There are literally people here that do half of the work of everyone else, but they play the fragile employee trick to a tee. AIG will always cave. Trust me, seen it a hundred times.
Your co-workers will hate you, but if you are at home who cares?
What the guy said above. Just don't go.
Just tell your boss you’ve been “literally shaking” or “shaking and crying with fear” since you got the news and they won’t make you come back in. You definitely want to incorporate an overly dramatic and visceral reaction to a minor event that you’ve known was going to happen for several months to drive home how big of a liar you are but also how far you’re willing to go to get your way.
The time wasted commuting that could otherwise be spent on work is one of the key drivers where I would want to continue to WFH a couple time a week. Also, if I have to go into the office to wear a mask and sit in TEAMS meetings all day, count me out. I can do the same at home without a mask
One thing you can always count on is a spineless AIG. Just don't go, they will not fire you.
