Many competent SWE in our team have left in the past year. I started working here a few years ago,and I was recently told that I'm important to the team. But my works are just becoming more and more, but got a raise less than inflation last year. The bonus is not worth mentioning. We have to deal with nasty code base and use ancient technologies. I do see some SWE in my team have more than 10 years of experience and aren't even at Senior level. Is it just me getting paid that little? Or they're just happy with what they got? How come people are not at least trying to jump to any FAANG companies? BTW, that's what I'm trying to do now, I'm practicing leetcode everyday now.

Yes you are important to the company but that importance is so those above you are successful. Stone has a reputation of being hard to work for and is not generally kind to his employees.
While Stone rakes in the millions, many employees suffer pitifully small and insulting raises. Money speaks loudly and really shows how much they want to keep you. They can pay any raise they want, they are just playing games when standing behind their policies. Do you think Stone would accept a half percent raise?
