Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Why is it bad for Chase if employees WFH?

No one has answered that yet. Is it really bad for Chase if employees work from home and why?

Or going back to the office still has to do with that Suzy Sunshine culture that someone mentioned in the previous thread? If I don't come to the office, how else will I look at other people's fake smiles and be forced to also make as many fake smiles as possible? /sarc.

That reminds me. The EXEDIR I am under doesn’t know jack about anything. All he does is ask questions and being pushy. Not sure how that ignorant pr1ck promoted to that position in the first place

Did jp ever disclose how do they compensate employees if they do catch COVID in the office ? Since it’s them who required us to be exposed to others that don’t wearing masks indoor with bad air circulation? One guy with COVID coughs and we can all get it, just like that....

Serious though, when our jobs are not co-located and all of our co-workers are in different areas of the world, it makes no sense for us to have to go into the office.

And to the one that says they can't imagine living a life so negative. I agree that we need to find something we are more passionate about. But your negative comment is exactly the tone you are railing against. Why be so negative towards someone else asking a question? Why are you on this board if you are so positive and happy with your job?

You sound like a really happy person, lol. (Sarcasm) Maybe find another line of work where you don’t dread coming into the workplace? Just a thought. I would hate to be so negative and down about a job, life is too short, find something you are passionate and posits about. 90% of a job is working with those around you. If you fail at that, it’s probably not a good fit.

It's not bad for Chase employees to work from home. It's the Chase Culture that doesn't want to allow it.

Tbh, wfh really has no impact on my tasks as it has been working wonders for a year and a half but managers need to see everything you are doing in person so they can stalk you more easily. That’s why they bring out the bull of bulls excuse: “it’s for our team culture and for better work productivity” when no one asks for it.....make an anonymous poll for employees to vote, who wants to return to the office. OH wait, nothing is really anonymous anyway so nvm, don’t want to be retaliated by higher ups.....

Because when Jamie dies in the office they want to have 10,000 slaves go with him to the afterlife under the billion dollar pyramid he's trying to build.
