Here are some selections from their recent Associate Rewarding email:

Associates are the heart of our Mission. The peaks of coronavirus led to many uncertainties. However, despite it all, our teams across the nation excelled and continued to provide compassionate, personalized care to the communities we serve. Considering overall performance, you’re eligible to receive Ascension’s new Ministry Performance Award.

  • Annual pay increase. In addition to the new Ministry Award Program, eligible associates will also receive an annual pay increase in the fall. The 2% pay increase will be effective in October and seen in paychecks on November 5, 2021.
  • Socially Just Wage. In January 2022, Ascension’s Socially Just Wage rate will increase to $15 an hour, ahead of our initial plan to implement the increase in January 2023. Socially Just Wage is our minimum wage at Ascension. Ascension’s Socially Just Wage is part of the Total Rewards program, and reflects a commitment to meeting the needs of our associates and ensuring a fair and just wage, acknowledging the dignity of the human person and the spiritual significance of the work performed.
  • Market adjustment pay increase. On an annual basis, jobs are assessed to determine whether pay is competitive within the local market using published market compensation surveys. Certain jobs are then identified to receive a base pay increase.
