Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Just another reminder that the company doesn’t trust you

Chem Tech folks, remember back in 2019 the idle threats passed around by management about fully reading the code of conduct? That they would punish anyone who didn’t before signing that they acknowledged it?

This still irks me almost two years later.

If they can’t trust us enough with that, then they don’t trust us at all. No wonder people are leaving in droves…

Where does it state there was no reading? Assumption. And true transparency works both directions - one is missing in this equation.

Wait folks don’t read the business code of conduct? It is basically a road map of how to not get fired (or get fired), why would you not read it?
