With a required minimum 60 day notice in most places, any reductions to be included in Q3 financials and earnings have been announced. Still some very significant expense savings for 2022 and beyond to be realized. Don't underestimate the impact of turnover on our ability to achieve expense savings. Departing employees in record numbers (at least in claims) means fewer RIF's in certain roles. Growth in policies and premium would allow us to improve expense ratio faster, but that's been hard to come by for the last decade.
Too much PTO being used and screaming customers over auto delays. Covid raging in Pune. They are working fast to get robots to do the work. Maybe next year they’ll be ready to mass lay off again. Allstate hemorrhaging bad enough of their staff through voluntary departures right now. No lay off worries …..for now. Maybe a few select firings though.
There were rumors that the separation offer was going to be extended to Band by D employees.
The special separation plan separations - voluntary, but really rifs - are happening at end of August.
