The ranking and Pip process for OCA staff has changed this year.
Notifications are now ongoing even though it is August. If you are PIP’d - the PIL is only 60 days vs. the 90 day’s for MPT. Ironic as the OCA staff are the least paid.
OCA staff have always been ranked by letters (A, B, C or D) vs thirds and quintiles within the thirds as they are considered a dime a dozen and little effort is put into their ranking or any career path.
Similar to MPT though, you now can slide down two levels in one tank cycle.
As someone on an upward projector, high B - you can become a D, which is an automatic PIP qualifier.
Reasons can be very ambiguous and details scant. Ask for as much detail as you can and write it down. Some supervisors can’t even answer the questions asked.
For ANYONE put on PIP in US, you should be given the “go to/us MLRP” site as a reference. I assume it is open to everyone - if not Pip’d yet - it’s good reading material.
Lastly - age is a factor. Older is not better.

Can NREs be ranked low, even though the cants be PIPed.
