Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Do they understand what banking is supposed to be about?

It used to be a good place to work. We used to have good benefits and we used to have leaders who understood the work. We now have talking heads that have no understanding of what banking is supposed to be about and who produce copious amounts of propaganda to convince the world that we are a "great place to work".

I apologize for copying somebody's words, but I found this post from +1cu9HXct very interesting. I myself have often wondered this.

This has been evident since Brian took over and surrounded himself with Fleet goofballs. The bank's focus has been politically correct and woke. If you think stockholder driven decisions, wait till they go full blown stakeholder driven decisions. It will have nothing to do with banking and everything to do with moving goalposts of nonsense.

If you can find an employer that focuses on customers and people, go there immediately.

CB tells folks that "banking is a noble profession" as she works to undermine the very foundation of banking.

All the blah blah blah will soon fall on deaf ears and the bank's words will mean nothing. Eventually they will have to walk their talk. (At the rate they are going it may not be in our lifetime.)
