Hiring spree at AT&T is good for the industry. Hence, it is very likely VZ will follow suit and no VSP package will be offered this year folks

every year we try to be more like AT&T. Even though the profits and innovation comes from the other side of the business
VZ and AT&T will never be successful and agile enough to compete until they get rid of union labor and unprofitable wireline.
Hopefully VZ will take a page out of AT&T as they’re ready to once again build out and expand the FiOS wireline network. Looks like AT&T learned the hard way. That’s what that article says if you read between the lines.
But then again, VZ always the last to follow of course.
VZ still thinks it’s like 2012 and is waiting for that 5G thing and is stuck in its VZW-only thinking. Oh wait.
So many better places to work than bloated old telcos that are in decline.
