IT Issues

Does anyone know what's going on with all the IT issues lately? My co-workers are also having different issues as well. Kind of scary.

the brand new laptops are slower and slower and I have a 1gbit connection at home so not my fault... in the offices the situation is even worse!! In general IT issues are a nightmare now, you have to contact various remote people from India until you get the competent one (and hoping that imcompetent ones don't make too many damages). in the office they removed totally IT and put an old lady that was doing other things managing the tickets, older employee and people with no particular IT skills have a lot of troubles

Keep in mind that AIG just trashed the US based Network IS team about a month and a half ago. We were the ones who kept it together. We went into hyperdrive to finish the project that allowed everyone to WFA.
There was no reason to get rid of Webex for teams except that SH wanted it. He is a MS guy.

Sitting on the outside now and loving it.

So you’re having more IT issues just pop up or you’re having problems getting help with your issues?

They have let go of most of the US IT teams. The systems are decaying and there is no one left to fix them. Everything has been out sourced. They’re trying to slash the budget by almost 70% and this is what you get.

This place changes systems way too often for some stuff. It's like each time someone new comes they want to throw all the systems in place out.

Ever since I got MS Teams, I have had issues - slow computer, being suddenly disconnected from the AIG network, Teams just freezing and then shutting down, etc. Typical MS product - full of defects
