Has anyone heard of any new rumor or has any new information about layoffs to share? I don’t have any info on cuts yet but I’m preparing for all the possibilities as the quarterly results get closer. I hope there won’t even be a need for them given the attrition levels.

Min performers go on PIPs and then are let go with no severance. And if the PIP is bull or discriminatory, just get an attorney. Spend the couple of thousand to fight it and if Schwab has no leg to stand on, you will get severance.
Come end of the month I will be able to put in an extra 5% into my 401K. With those catch up contributions in play, and the fact that I am well over 50, I fully expect to be cut in the next round. I babble, and I'm not all here.
Of course there will be layoffs. That is how they get rid of the old people and non-performers - due to integration of course, but a way to keep the media out of their business. Attrition has been aweful that is why everyone is getting at 5% pay increase at the end of the month, by the way it took more than a month to implement that increase. Look for layoffs in early November before the holidays
So after the Certificate of Deposit #1, no more layoffs, is that what we are saying? You can tell I'm a real A1 candidate here. A1 potential. A1 material right here.
After CD1 layoffs will be for standard businsss reasons
No more layoffs one we reach CD1.
There will also continually be layoffs until integration is complete regardless of attrition. Simple example but they have a local marketing manager but need a digital marketing manager. Do you keep your local person or go hire the digital person you need? Only one has the skill set you need to go into the future according to the company
Results not good?
