I've worked here for over 10 years and this has got to be the most toxic work environment. I listen to management bad mouth each other behind their backs and also have managers brag about how they just put one of your co-workers on a CAP... wow. I bet they discuss other sensitive information to their buddies at the local bar... LMFAO

Then there are those id--ts that have nothing to do and monitor LinkedIn so they can give anything regarding Optum a thumbs up or a wonderful comment. Think they are on the inside track. Id--ts. Get to work.
I was laid off because I did not fit into the culture. Never gossiped about others in the department, put my head down and made my deadlines and deliverables but was also deemed the black sheep of the department. My reviews included 2 outside peer reviews and the feedback was she has too much work. Can’t believe she was able to manage it all. Still received a barely Meets Expectation. No great loss for me because it ended the way I expected and I found something much better. I stayed to see if the company would ever make it right. And they did not. I do not compromise my morals or ethical conduct for any company. Oh and by the way I was the oldest employee and a different race than everyone else in the department.
And yet you stay. You are part of the problem. I got the heck out of that place and you see how bad it really is once you are out and decompressed.
Yep. I worked in an environment where the Director had derogatory names for coworkers and the boss. Gossip was the culture. Also trying to breach PHI was a game. Trying to look up the Senior Director when she was on medical leave to see the meds she was on as well as former employees. Such a freak show.
