Thread regarding Expedia Inc. layoffs

The thing that bothers me the most here is the lack of transparency.
How can anyone trust our leadership when there is no transparency?
For me, transparency is one of the ultimate signs of respect, a sign that the company still cares for its employees. I have been here for a long time in uncertainty about what will happen to us who stayed here and to our jobs. Why is there no transparency? The only answer I have is that they are trying to squeeze employees till the end, until the day they are told they are not needed anymore.
