Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

A colleague left after a month

I was happy to get a new colleague and hoped my workload would be a bit unburdened. Turns out I rejoiced too soon. The new colleague is already a former colleague. I am glad for him, because I also wish to have left a long time ago, but I wonder if it is now the new normal in this company for people to leave after only a month spent here?

Wait ...what??? Have I been voting wrong wrong all these years? I've been using my hands! Darn, I hope my votes counted all these years. :-)

It is like any other situation. people vote with their feet.

Look at the Accenture turnover...it's horrible. Is this directly related to the AIG processes they need to follow or just an Accenture cultural thing? Either way, just sad.

Turnover is pretty high but that's not normal.

Turnover is a symptom of how employees are treated. Draw your own conclusions.
