Every company has to change, but the problem is that I don't see Dell changing for the better. Today I am quite depressed because another colleague has left. Now this feels like a completely different company for me.
All the colleagues I really enjoyed working with are gone.
I would not like to offend anyone, but it is very difficult to work without colleagues who were very competent, instead of whom there are now some new people who have yet to achieve those standards.

The Dell Technologies suite at Gillette Stadium will be jam packed at tonight's Patriots game for the return of Tom Brady...yet we're not allowed to return to the Dell offices. Doesn't make much sense.
Love how Dell HR minions come in and down vote any adverse post against the company. Really throws off the usefulness of this site.
I have lost all interest in work since being forced to work from home for over a year.
how do you balance 15 different gender types now????
Diversity and Inclusion, gender balancing, all for the wrong reasons!
@7mgv+1cQG0y9 DELL is my family.
OMG...it's just a paycheck.
Can’t say I blame you for feeling this way. I got laid off last year in July. Most of my friends from work left the company and those who remained moved horizontally across the company. I’ll probably never see them again.
The workplace will never be the same again. But you just gotta keep moving forward. The most you can do now is focusing on your work and making the best of it. Enjoy being with your friends outside of work and your loved ones. Ironically, I just went to a psychologist today and talked about this exact same thing.
All you can really do to feel better is enjoying who you have in your life, walking outside every day for about 30 minutes, and concentrate on making yourself better.
Good luck!
It's great how HR pops on and down votes everything. 10/10.
This thread is depressing..
I miss my hair.
You came alone and will the same way. Miss them for what to share memories and experiences which no longer serve you. Grow up.
Feeling the same way on my marketing team. Our top performers are being driven out or outright demoted by incompetent managers. They were replaced by a fleet of new people who have no idea what they’re doing because there are no longer tenured employees around to train them.
These managers keep being put in roles where they can’t help with training or anything else because they don’t even know what their own team does.
My team is getting smaller and smaller every week as more talent resigns. Hoping to finally make the move to another company as well.
Leave and take a risk! Think what do you want most, what you excel at and do your best to get it! I left 2015 with salary $130K. Now my salary is $235K and I am working on my favorite subject.
It's the way of most corporate jobs where the company is struggling to keep costs low. Drive off (or lay off) the high-salary long-timers and replace them with fresh blood at 60-70% of the cost every so often.
