Are we looking at more cuts any time soon?

AIPs are prorated and paid out, normally. I doubt any layoffs at year end will occur, typically done in feb-June.

If you are a “straight white guy in your 40s or later” then you’ve lived a privilege life, so deal with it.

If you’re a straight white guy in your 40s or later, get your resume together.

It’s been a few years since I worked there, but typically Thanksgiving was a big layoff time. Agree with others it will depend upon timing of AIP. But this is a short term solution, hiring others at a lower pay to do the work.
Today’s employment market has drastically shifted, and Anthem should be very careful with RIFs as cost savings for replacement staff may be non-existent.

I think you have to be employed at the time AIP pays out, instead of the old rule where it was Dec 31. Guessing they won’t lay anyone off because if they drop a vaccine mandate for Jan, they’re going to have a big problem keeping things going with such a fall out of staff.

Most likely before year end. They like to throw people out late in the year so they do not qualify for AIP for that year, not still considered 'employed' when AIP is paid out in March the following year.

November and February tend to be the windows.... at least in marketing

Always. We are always waiting for the next round. The department I was in when I was RIFd - we were told to plan on more RIFs but maybe not til first quarter 2022.
