Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The HR shills

You know the HR shills can and will post on here all day long. (Obviously nothing better to do) However, what I know for a fact and what is real is this - the number of people working at Fiserv (Should really be called First Data) who are interviewing and wanting to get out of that place is astounding. I know many HR people is several arenas, Aarons, Cox, Home Depot, and the list goes on and on that keep telling me that they are getting hundreds of Fiserv employees interviewing and all saying that same thing. That working at Fiserv sucks now. That is reality.

They can have it all. The cr---y contractors in India cant deliver, nothing but cr-p code.
When You complain about it Your labeled as harsh, unfair, unreasonable etc..
Local VP management is a joke, can say No to anything, and over promises and under delivers. Complete double talk on everything. Says only work 8 hours a day then turns right around and says need more work out of people. Expects management to work 24 hours a day even if they have health problems. First Data had to pick up all the cr-p that Fiserv was not doing and try to fix it. Fiserv was all about appearances, thier network was appalling, their outages were appalling. Then You have First Data and Franks policy of everyone in the office even though Everything We do is remote. Makes perfect sense. I have had enough and am looking for another job. There will be a huge ho-e when I leave that will be very hard to fill. The last several people they hired did not last a year and left or got let go cause they could not perform.

We have contractors added to our product. They are marketed as a "new team" who will be "helping us out". This is just another way of training our replacements isn't it?

Sadly, this is the goal of Frank/Guy/Tony -- drive up rates of attrition so that people can be replaced with contractors. They know nobody wants to go back to stuffy buildings and have to get punished with weekly nose-swabs and mask-wearing.
