Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Total number of employees?

Anyone have the total number of employees in aria? I left the company a while ago. Just wondering with the attrition rate going on.

Turnover of key, experienced staff is reaching record numbers. I have not seen anything like it in my 12 years. We have products that even our support staff do not know how to use!

I would love to get laid off. I haven’t worked more than 10 hours a week in 6 years. Not my problem.

The best are gone and those best ones linger here.

OP: I was just wondering given the 15% attrition rate, have the numbers really dropped. It was 138,000 or so a while ago, then I think it was 130,000. Just wondering now.

The total number of employees is rising, while people leaving is accelerating. You need to consider the knowledge, experience and location of those assets.

It’s not the quantity that’s left it’s the quality that really counts.

Yup, the quality of the remaining employees is no longer there.

It’s not the quantity that’s left it’s the quality that really counts. There is a lot of people who are hanging around waiting for their exit package, or replacements will little to no experience and oracle will continue to replace people that leave with other less qualified people who will be thrown into the deep end in a sink or swim exercise, those that come out on the other end will end up on this site in no time. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long and they figure it out earlier than I did.
