Future Goals - Can we last that long

We are setting emissions and production goals into 2030 and beyond. Can we last that long?

Pioneer has been around 24 years, so 9+ more years seems feasible. Plus, the big players like Exxon who could maybe afford us are caring more and more about ESG (recent Shell divestiture is a perfect example). For them, spending a big stack of money to buy Pioneer is not really in alignment with what shareholders want right now. So, my guess is yes PXD will still be here in 2030 and beyond.

Use the company for what it can give you, nothing more. I feel sorry for the folks that think any of this actually matters.

I need ya'll to stay motivated...I took about 50% of VSP cash to buy PNR stock when it hit $50...made about 200% return...did same in 401K...so I need ya'll to keep the development plans and PMPs going...and ya SITE Defensive Driving!

I hope all my fellow employees not on MC are prepping for the day of reckoning….MC doesn’t care about us and we will be left hanging while they buy another Aston Martin and vacation home. The free lunches will come to an end….but make sure you do your development plan and pretend like it matters

The goals are used to boost our ESG scores to appease investors and prevent our stock price from getting dinged. When execs are ready to finally retire they’ll sell the company, so I’d imagine it’s well before 2030 and these targets won’t actually matter to them.
