I hear Coordinators are picking up multiple regions- are they consolidating regions? whats happening to folks that had those jobs- the old find another position in a month or take a hike after decades of service? First Class Company- even before the merger they were trash

The regional offices can do no wrong its always the stores fault. WFM trys to push they promote competent ethical leaders to positions not based on nepotism. I can say I have worked with two STLs that have no integrity whatsoever and it is a well known fact that they are hated by almost everyone in the region that has worked for them. They are both freinds with a higher up at the regional office and in locations that would be successful regardless of who was in the position at that store.
I have never seen regional so hellbent on discrediting team members so much for the retaliation policy.
gonna love those coordinators having to hump pallets of bad allocations/over purchases from regional-global..or moving merchandising back and forth between the same two spots on the sales floor week to week...prime sale mangos at the front one week,next week back of dept,ooops we over purchased and they are going bad at the regional distribution center so move them back to front of dept but at a bad price point...have fun on a closing shifts.....
They are all staying.
But you all will get fired with everclean violations or not meeting retail standards does not matter hiring status or sop’s that contradict food safety with performance expectations.
As a perception business we are doomed since regional and global run a business on that perception which means a snap shot of that moment in time not consistent performance and they usually use flag ship stores which bring $$$$ to fake the atmosphere of “we can do it here so you can too “ attitude and we have all been there at 5 pm on a Sunday and the store looks like it’s going out of business.
Watch the stores with pics and show up at 5pm on sunday but also watch region start new programs to counter this post .
We are focused on selling the most marginal of items especially on hot bar where an item would cost you 20 cents is now 9.99lb at the hotbar.
Do You Know how much of that item you would need to push to change negative sales & margin?
More than you can budget labor for!
Who makes up these fake numbers regional & global?
An over bloated regional and global could not make the company successful why would the realignment work with less people and more work?
Regional and global never get more responsibility and that’s why whole foods will disappear since the head honchos never knew how stores run the new i.d. Sop fails is because youy rely on several teams to do the right thing and report scan /plu issues
Rather than getting that info at the distribution center by by the way the fda will prohibit whole foods from packaging items in store eventually due to distribution centers ,regional and global not knowing what we receive in our own dc’s and rely on stores who are the last line of defense.
