Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

2 new variants

2new COVID variations Delta plus and lambda so Aig should delay return to office, but won’t as if people die from getting COVID then they will save money won’t have to lay them off just another way to show how they have cut cost

Part of me wants them to try this just for the entertainment value and part of me wants them to push the date back so we can just have some stability in our lives, even if it’s just this one small thing.

Having said that, there are some personal items I would like to collect. If they would let people come in and get their stuff, I would have no problem wearing a mask or a trash bag over my head. Whatever they want.

This is the perfect setup for AIG. Mandate vaccines or get out. Perfect!

Will there be a vaccine mandate here?

I’m sure your job won’t be affected by opting to stay home. No way that would happen. If you try to pull something like that, make sure you run it through HR so it’s on the record at least.

With the latest video, he basically said your local office will decide when to come back. (Not you) Ours has a strong desire to return, I’m hearing. I’m not getting the warm and fuzzies when I’ve mentioned staying home to management.

There is plenty of time for AIG to make the decision not to come into work. And I’m even if they don’t push it back, they have made it clear that if you don’t feel comfortable going in yet, you don’t have to.

Wow! So many people have obviously moved out of state…and aren’t around to go back to the office. Hospitalizations are primarily rising for areas/individuals who are unvaccinated. Get vaccinated and the risk of getting seriously ill (i.e., more than the flu) are practically nil. Time for everyone to grow up….you’re not going to get paid for sitting around your house all day doing nothing.

They need to push the date back end of story! It’s simply not safe! The 9/14 date is arbitrary. Hospitalization rates across the country are at peak levels. Kids on vents in FL and TX has two major counties in stage 5. Reduce the real estate footprint and save some money while keeping employees safe. Win win!
