Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Hoping that SunTrust Prima Donnas are having to work

After leaving Truist last year I’ve not kept up with former managers, Sr. VPs who regarded themselves very highly. I do hope they’re having a hard time under the new structure and are no longer able to delegate everything down to their reports.

I hope they’re being treated like dirt. I hope they have someone nagging them about not turning work in on some arbitrary deadline.

I do not wish them well.... I wish them very very humbling experiences.

The h-ST management culture was to promote people with money and/or family connections.... they weren’t expected to do actual work. And didn’t.

These Einstein’s left decision-making to subordinates (so they wouldn’t get blamed for anything) but took credit for the good work and ideas of those same subordinates.

They probably thought all the messy little merger details would be figured out and worked on by someone else......

Nope, they will just add more consultants that don’t know anything. And add more work to the mix. Oh what fun more spreadsheets.
