Idk about anyone else but the NEW YORK claims team does NOT help with growth. They have their picks believe me. They don’t want to train you but tell you that you should know certain things. If I wasn’t trained on Medicare/Medicaid why would you tell me to do it anyway? If I wasn’t trained on adjustments how am I supposed to know? They are so behind it’s crazy. The managers don’t know ANYTHING, just useless. They Just sit and send emails all day about nothing. Why raise production to 130 claims per day during a pandemic without sufficient training?

I worked for this area for a while. Welcome to enterprise standards. These numbers are rolled down from above.. managers are required to roll it regardless of any personal opinion. They are just the ones to take the heat for it. I have no skin in this game as I have not been with Anthem for a while. Just trying to lay the blame where blame is due.
Learn SQL and get a better job . They have a lot of Analyst job openings. As an Analyst you pretty much set your own schedule.
It has been the way with Anthem for a long time - they throw you in and it's sink or swim with minimal training materials. It is across the board and there is no end in sight for this to change. It is so sad. Not the company it used to be.
130 claims a day?! Holy cow what are you working? No wonder reconsiderations is getting so much rework, that is just a stupid amount of per day expectation to not make some kind of error
Virginia teams are no different. They just throw work in your work basket and leave you high and dry
Not to mention the OE don’t even answer your questions. And now with teams we know they can see the question because of the eyeball.
