Cuts had already started in many departments before covid. This crisis makes it sound good as an excuse, but most if not all of the new leaders were brought in with one thing on their mind...cut costs.
The antivac folks will further cause cuts in care, support, and staff. And they will not be replaced.
Hospital staff is leaving as they mandated the vaccine. IT is being reshore and dropping like flies not a large percentage but still a good chunk not getting vaccinated.
They plan to use the mandate to clean house and bring in people they’re paying less with no benefits overhead.
They’ve saved a few millions as of today outsourcing and writing off “pandemic-related” costs to the government to foot the bill. At the same time executives and specific individuals have received raises and bonuses.
