Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I will never understand this

How is it good business for Sam's to get rid of the most loyal employees who do a fantastic job which they really care about - just so that people who don't know and don't have much interest in doing that job would come to their place?
People who are just a little less paid but do sloppy work... leadership thinks it's saving.

Ask Amazon, they don't keep employees past six months. It's economical. They've done the research.

The more money they save on payroll is money that goes towards their bonuses.
