Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

There's even ANOTHER job posting with spelling mistakes.
Good grief. Where do they hire from now?
It's pretty bad when the department responsible for hiring cannot rise above eighth grade grammar skills.

Human Resources cannot even post a job without correct spelling.
They are hiring using temp agencies now, so the work load is minimal.
My guess is that the only incentive would be to hire people who won't challenge them and their domain. Incompetent people want to control a situation out of fear and insecurity.

If someone ever evaluated how many they hire and how many that leave the turnover here in Grand Rapids is AMAZING. I bet it is no less than hundreds in a year with such a small census. Either they are hiring wrong or hiring the wrong people. Reflection on HR. Do they get a incentive if they hire 100 people in a year or what (Not noting how many leave)?

I think to circle back to the original post, it's clear that L3 Human Resources cannot even rise to the level of competent. (Doubt that they'd be able to spell this word either.)

Most people use the word 'competent' as if it's something to be proud of. All it really means is just average.
(And men especially love to throw this word around, completely unaware of how foolish they sound!)

My nephew graduated from high school with honors and told me that he was thinking of going into Human Resources management studies.

I quickly informed him of what a dead end path (and brain dead job) this would be. He's thankfully studying something that will use his brains.

And everyone is "Senior" with L3 turnover turnover... amazing hire / term ratio if ever were examined. Amazing.

Not really shocked. I remember when our Grand Rapids entire office was sent out some sort of newsletter-style invitation to a lousy little party in the cafeteria. In the three sentences of the entire message, there were at least a half dozen spelling or grammar errors.
Made the day a little less boring at least. But then you realize that these are the people who are doing the hiring. No need to wonder why cashiers and baristas get asked to interview. Glad to be gone. Really glad.

Wow. This is pretty basic stuff and if a Human Resources flunky cannot even post a simple job without all of these errors, it's clear why they cannot manage to do much else.
