Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

I can't wait to become unavailable

Do you have time to take a break and finally forget about work?

This is not normal. It’s okay to work hard, but some work life balance has to exist. Here I became a man who just works. Truist “needed” me always, there was no awareness that an employee should sometimes take a break. I gave notice because I was totally burned out.

Hard work is one thing, but working for an executive team that puts zero value on their employees is another. Why would you trade your life to make this group successful? The better you get to know our executive team, the more awful you realize they are.

They work you to death, then tell you the company values are Trustworthy, Caring, One Team, Success, Happiness. The leaders are self serving snakes!

My favorite teammate quit due to being burned out as well. She called this job as "soul sucking". I put in my notice as well. I have one week lefr.
