After 5 years of investment in education and getting experience in my new endeavor I finally broke free from the gravity of the ATT globe last week.
It's wonderful out here.

T is a breeding ground for the some of the most narcissistic humans I have ever experienced. And to add, 99% of managers do not have a progressive mindset. It’s all reactive and numbers. Robots would do a better job .
Since I left my blood pressure is down and I can sleep without melatonin or other sleep meds. My GERD seems to have vanished. I come back on Mondays refreshed and excited to get back to work instead of dreading a backlog of billing and service issues. Good ideas are recognized and immediately implemented in my new company. I'm still learning to spread my wings after many years trapped in the gravity of AT&T, but each time I do I'm rewarded and thus a bit more empowered.
I'm still in the honeymoon period, sure, but it is indeed wonderful out here.
Yes, the world is a much brighter, happier, friendlier place after leaving the T-holes.

congrats - it is amazing how bad you see att is ran when you work with another company.
I have been semi retired at AT&T for the last 18 years but I have to work fast , smart and pace myself .
