Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Walmart plans to make most store associates full-time by early 2022?

Is that true? If so, are we talking 51 percent, or more?

Magic 8-ball says..... extremely doubtful. As a previous poster mentioned, Walmart saves money by keeping their associates at PT so they don't have to provide benefits.

Walmart full time is minimum 34 hours per week.

Not a chance. The benefits cost would be astronomical.

Full time in their eyes is 32 hours. So yeah more b.s. talking out of both sides of their mouths. Not really full time. They can cut 40 hour per week people to 32 and raise 24 hour per week people to 32. It makes them look great on paper but we all know it's garbage. Just like when they promised to hire all ex military people coming home from the middle East. What happened to that? All talk and no jock.

If true it's by major cuts on both part-time and full-time.
