We have lost 8 employees in two weeks. Whats happening in other stores? Any input would be appreciated.

We had two STM’S quit when they found out that they made 1/3 what the store manager is making.
Horrible environment...been there 3 years and people coming in after me are getting paid more. So much drama. Bullies. Nothing ever taken care of. Nothing changes. Several have left at my store and I’m about to be one of them.
People are quitting cr-p jobs. And especially cr-p jobs with cr-p managers. That’s why Belk is on the brink with all these employees quitting. Why would someone work for a rude, lazy manager for $11 an hour. what a joke.
well i think it's the time we're living in my local kroger store is so short staffed that it only has one operating checkout line and customer service closes at 2 so if there is a problem you just have to deal with it yourself
I am trying to stick it out till we close but I just don't know if I can. The toxic management in my store is off the scale!12
This is what happens RIGHT before liquidation. It happened at Sears, Toys R Us, and K Mart. everyone sees the writing on the wall.
Should have valued your employees Belk, but you could care less, if employees leave, you dont consider their experience or the customer relationships they built..
You'll hire some newbies for a cheaper salary, which will probably only be there temporarily, because the newbies will soon realize how everything operates, then they'll look for a new job.
It's happening in every store. We lost three managers and now the store is basically running on key carriers. The store manager is hardly ever in the store, it's as bad as i've seen it.
Our store has a lot of new hires not returning after the first day! Also our store has been dead slow. It's the worst I've seen in 7 years.
