Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

When the announcement was made

I had no issue in mid June to July returning, but now with the numbers high. Whats up.. i know money has been spent on the RTO, masks and all that provided. But still to risk passing a virus nobody knows much about. Come on Bank of America thought we were better than that

I too was ok with RTO until the Delta surge. Will be asking my direct manager how she feels with WFH a few days a week.

I still haven't received any confirmation on my Sept 9th RTO.

I too was fine with RTO until the Delta numbers started rising. I am not opposed to RTO but think it may need to be delayed until the Delta numbers start getting better. I think there is a mistaken belief that the vaccine makes you invincible to covid. It does not. It is simply a tool like masks and social distancing that we can utilize to reduce our risk of falling ill to the virus. To stick to an arbitrary date while ignoring the obvious warning signs seems ill advised.

BOA is making a serious mistake in the RTO dilemma. I know healthcare workers that go to work in hospitals with hazmat suits on and still test positive for covid. This is going to be a deadly situation for staff RTO. I would not go back . The decision to have staff RTO only tells me they don't give a damn about your health or your families. This decision must be push back . I will alert news stations on this issue and hopefully they can expose this heartless company.

The bank only SAYS they are better than that, but they don't walk the walk. Big diff. That's the problem.
