I can’t believe all the employees at out store in Monroe are making $15 an hour ,, that’s what Belk should have done a long time ago!! Who else store is doing this ? We heard only the few that couldn’t find help are doing it?!

Not all stores pay $15 an hour. Some pay well below that.
They only pay me $14.95, how are other people making five cents more
In response to the NEW new hire rate of $15/hr, all hourly associates at #603, who have been making LESS than $15/hr for YEARS and YEARS, have now been raised to $15/hr…which is the same rate as a new hire. So “HOORAY”! An experienced associate of ten years is now officially at Belk’s minimum wage.
I only got a $1 raise. Definitely not close to $15🤬🤬
I got a call back this week about it. Great, could have used it months ago. But benefits? Comfort? Stability? No aches?
For $15 /hr, there’s so much more.
This is why, in retail, it’s not just the check. It’s how you’re treated. Increase that.
Nothing wrong about the announcement. Overdue, and any benefitting employees are well deserved!
This is wrong. If they are hiring at 15 an hour as a starting wage, they need to bring up the pay for the employees who have been with the store--and more than 15.
And they'll get it all back from you as you'll see the frequency of employee discount days increase. Shop somewhere else, you can afford it now.
$15 per hour means that ALL employees should get a $5 per hour raise!!!!
NORTHLAKE STARTS SUNDAY. LONG TIME COMING!!!
My store in Oxford, Mississippi starts tomorrow.
They're paying $15.00 per hour to newly hired people?
Wow, we have employees who've worked for years and are below $11.00, then theres the 14, 21, cent raises.
Crabtree is in at $15 now too.
