Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Maybe they think that transparency can hurt productivity

What is happening is actually the opposite. While I expect the important information to be given to me, Humana decides not to give that information to its employees.

What do they really want to achieve that way?

If they want to achieve higher productivity, they will never get it for as long as people work in uncertainty.

Keep us working until they are done with us and pretend they give a damn. Nasty.

I don’t think pharmacy will go to vendors. They will lose too much money but other roles yes definitely.

There is more to the work than just CMs…there’s pharmacy, social work, CHE support- are all those roles going to vendors, too?

@imitenosomthin... hearing stirrings of the same thing.... hum care vs vendor. RIF may be the blessing.

My assumption is they want the new platform to fail so they can farm out ALL CM to a vendor.

I found it irritating as nails on a chalkboard that the VP of Humana said she was in the same boat us we were. Her husband may lose his job! Some of us are single parents- no lady this not the same!
