These type of buyouts always result in many people being let go, it's their big chance to slash costs. Remember- companies owe you nothing, and will send you packing if it means giving shareholders even a penny higher share value. It's all about the shareholders.

I don’t think it’s about the shareholders this time as it is about trying to get out from the decade of neglect by Risk and how they dropped the ball by turning their heads . Now they need to get out from under the mess the CRO and Chief Compliance Officer created, along with that former Innovation / CTO guy who gave the bank several failed initiatives .
