Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

I don’t want to sound like a TD cheerleader (I too am leaving here soon because there are a lot of better places) however, it’s not true that TD is to blame for the stagnation of someone’s skills. I had a colleague, we started working at about the same time. That person was never interested in learning anything new. I guess he expected someone to beg him to upgrade his skillset. The irony is that he had just as much, if not more, opportunity here as anyone who really tried to adopt and apply as much new knowledge as possible, but never had any interest really.
