Thread regarding Pioneer Natural Resources Co. layoffs

If there's a reorg in January

Does that mean we are safe from layoffs until then?

If we go back to $25 oil, certainly there will need to be a few adjustments. There haven’t been many adds though so the number of contractors on the payroll will be decreased which would probably be sufficient.

There are no stupid questions at Pioneer, welcome to crazy town! Anyways, I can’t believe we laid off so many good people, just to hire new off the street.

If you’re new then get comfy in your role, no matter what lies you’re fed or how good your PMPs are, there will be no promotions or raises. Gotta fund that variable dividend to prop up the stock price at all costs!

No new reorg. None left to reorg. Even hr laid themselves off.

I know it might be a stupid question, but I have to check. I haven't been here long enough to know how this place works when it comes to layoffs.
