For now, I am satisfied with the pay, but the general atmosphere is such that I very often want to work in another bank. If the atmosphere was at least a little better, I think many who are leaving would choose to stay a little longer.
I am always optimistic that things will get better, but... first it is necessary to define what is the cause of such a bad atmosphere here.
Can confirm the bank is a dumpster fire and “leadership” are unqualified ring kissers.
What spoils the technology atmo is the governance. It's a barrier to success.

I wish they would just divest the bank or spin it off into a subsidiary. It is an absolute anchor on technology, innovation, and culture. Wishful thinking, I know.
I know Charles Schwab has a bank. That is obvious thank you. I was talking about Les Schwab. That it is not a bank. It uses a bank though. To save all the money from the tires that it makes. Charles Schwab is a bank! In fact part of the reason for all the extra rules, regulations and processes is that they are a full Banking Institution.

I’ve never worked on the bank side, but I think what hurts the company is they really push that teamwork and spirit stuff hard. You really have to drink the Kool Aid here. They really think p-t lucks or silly work competitions make it a good place to work.
